Lee Arnold (b. 1972, London, UK) is an artist who works in various forms, including drawing, collage, photography, animation, and sound. His diverse practice explores how we perceive and represent the natural world. He is particularly interested in the connection between art and science and how the tools and processes we use to collect and interpret information about underlying structures and phenomena influence our relationship to the environment. Arnold has exhibited at venues including the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Exit Art, and Eyebeam in New York; the Institute for Contemporary Art in Philadelphia; and SIGGRAPH in Los Angeles, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. He is a recent Fulbright Scholar to the UK and the recipient of fellowships from the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, MacDowell, and the DAAD at the Universität der Künste Berlin. He lives with his wife and daughter in Brooklyn.
